Our room smelled disgusting, and fan was very noisy. Facet did not work properly, so it was hard to adjust water temperature. Mold in bathroom and afraid-of-thinking-of-the-origin marks on bathroom walls kept us from taking shower. In the non-smoking room, blankets had burned holes from cigarettes all over. I don't think that the price of $45 justifies such the poor... more

You have to scale a recommendation in relation to cost, the higher the cost the more you expect to give a good score, the lower the price, the less you expect to award the same score. With that said, the Ridgecrest Motel 6 was 40 bucks for the night, less than half of most of the others in the area.... more

The room is normal size and it was okay, but the bathroom wasn't clean enough. We arrived late in the evening and the area was pretty creepy. Especially after we saw a guy step out from his room and throw up in front of the door. He looked pretty drunk and then he kind of frightened us when he started... more

This place reminded my husband of the motel in 'My Name Is Earl'! The place is clean and comfortable enough, a little rough around the edges, but the room didn't feel that secure and some of the people staying there made us feel uneasy. Maybe we're just paranoid.... Ridgecrest is a good place to stopover between Death Valley and Sequoia/Kings... more

Spent three nights over a long weekend for a photo workshop. Folks, this is a Motel 6. I had a smallish room with one bed and plenty of room for two people. Not overly noisy, but I specifically asked for a room in the back away from the street. Despite other reviews, it was plenty clean enough for me. Toiletries... more

It's a typical Motel 6, with small rooms, okay bathroom, small outdoor pool and coin laundry room, which we needed, so it served our purposes. It was unexpectedly booked up, maybe because of the convenient price. more

Stayed here one night. Motel 6 was very much cheaper than the other hotels. I had read on here good for a night's stay. I agree, one night is enough. Didn't have any problems, really, just would stay some place else next time. Rooms really small. This motel (like most Motel 6's) only had 2 full beds. There were four... more

If you are watching your $$ this is a good place to stay. Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and they seem to keep good maintenance because we have stayed there before and it was pretty much the same. We paid 45.00 (including tax) a night. and the average room just down the street (Econo Lodge, etc) was about... more

It's a Motel 6. I've stayed here several times over the past few years, and it's been pretty much the same all those times. It's clean, safe, and cheap, albeit typical Motel 6 barebones. There is a pay laundry facility for washing your clothes if you've been on the road for a few days, and a diner across the street... more
