Me and other family members (about 15 of us) stayed at the San Ramon Marriott to attend a family wedding. Let me first just say that the hotel was very lovely, clean and staff could not have been nicer. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed.. But we happened to stay during a weekend when there was a girls soccer tournament... more

My room smells. It's hot outside and the climate control was completely off. I checked in and sat down to work and not only do they not have wireless (what year is this) but they charge for hard-wired Internet. (which means no iPad and no laptop working without being chained 3' to the wall). In a location that caters to... more

Thank you for your comments. I understand your concern about the room being warm upon check-in on a hot day. As part of our energy conservation strategy, we do not keep the heat or air conditioning on in our vacant rooms. Generally, rooms get to a guest's desired tempature within a few minutes of arrival. I apologize for your discomfort....

I have stayed at this hotel several times through the years. I like the location, as it is next door to a Target and a few restaurants/shops (good Italian food, Baja Fresh, Peets coffee, ice cream). With comfortable shoes, it is also walking distance to several large office complexes. For this June visit, upon arriving to my room, I thought... more

My story here is a bit of a fluke. I was on a flight out of San Francisco that was overbooked, and volunteered to go on the next day's flight. There must have been a huge conference going on, as the closest hotel I got was this one, some 42 miles away. Yet it was all I expected and more.... more

This hotel charges $10 per car for parking with no in and out privileges. This is in an area with ample parking, not in a crowded city. They also charge $14.95 for internet access. The water in the shower didn't get over lukewarm. Customer service was not friendly or helpful. They also charge for smoking outside on the balcony and... more

We got a great rate through PL, and mainly used the room as a means to be close to the bay area for exploring, but not have to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. So it's hard to complain much, but it was annoying that you had to pay $10 a day to park, and $13 a... more

This place is not up to Marriott standards. I've stayed at lots of them and this is a dog. It's not that it isn't any good, it's just not Marriott good. Usually you get a very comfortable bed and bedding at a Marriott. Mine was hard as a brick and lumpy, sheets were fine. The walls are so thin I... more

I hosted a soccer group here. We had a very good experience. Breakfast was included in our rates. The food and service were great. I stayed in the Presidential Suite 508-510 and hosted a few events. The hotel is older but has been kept up. more

My wife and I have been fortunate to have traveled throughout the world and have stayed at reported highly rated properties such as the Peninsula Hotels both in Hong Kong and Thailand as well as numerous Four Season properties in Maui, the Mauna Kea, the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta, etc., I can truthfully share with you that the staff of... more

I can always depend on Marriott to satisfy my finicky parents. Went on Priceline, got a great deal $50.00/night. They loved the professional, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful comfy beds and how clean everything is. The pool area is big and relaxing with cool lemon/orange water always available to drink. The Bishop Ranch location is within steps of a great... more
