We stayed one night in Santa Barbara for an early morning bicycle race. The Mason Beach Inn was great! The staff was courteous, our room was quiet (though the walls are bit thin so you can hear people in the next room, luckily we didn't have loud neighbors) and clean. If you like sleeping on a rock, book this hotel!!! Rooms were adequate size but smelled of disinfectant upon entering. Pool area was clean and hot tub was a reasonable temperature. The Mason Inn was just perfect for us! Clean, cozy, and great location to the harbor, the wharf, the beach and State Street. The staff-front desk, maids, and maintenance crew were very friendly. The inn was very quiet and restful. The pool and hot tub were clean and peaceful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! more
