Selected the Mission Inn based on price and location to Santa Clara University. Room was very comfortable and nicely appointed, would stay there again. Only problem was I had requested a roll away bed and there was not one available.

Friendly front office staff checked us in and gave us code for free wireless Internet. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Staff was friendly. The carpet, tables, sink and tub were filthy. Parking was tight, their was no microwave and no regular coffee. The best part would be the staff they were very friendly and offered a good tip on a restaurant to try. Just okay. Not a Days Inn so more individually owned feeling. Understaffed. Not a "Choice Hotel" anymore. Pillows too big. Seems like room had some updating but wasn't finished... We are from New Zealand and have stayed here twice and about to book again. Last time we arrived at 1am and the service was perfect. Very adequate continental breakfast in the lobby and free use of computer in lobby. Quiet, tidy and comfortable rooms.
