Pictures say a thousand words "Here are potos of our room. I'm not sure what room the other pictures posted came from but the room we stayed in was gross. No microwave and no hair dryer as it said there was one. Ever since the owner passed away the hotel has done down hill. Either remodel it or bulldoze it!!!!

Staying here for 4 nights while traveling in San Jose and Santa Clara. Old and season hotel. My room doesn't have a good wifi reception, so I complain and the receptionist gave me a LAN cable, which is not useful for my other gadgets. This place has been around for awhile and is showing signs of wear, but it was clean, it's centrally located and the price was reasonable. The staff was cheerful and willing to please and that was refreshing. The hotel is showing its age, but I felt that gave it character. The staff was very accommodating, and cheerfully provided everything we asked for (and we asked for a lot - extra towels, pillows, hair dryer, iron), plus the coffee was plentiful. Loved the pool and jacuzzi and the flowering-vine-covered balconies.
