“A Couple of pluses, a couple of minuses = pretty good.”

True this is an old hotel. My hubby couldn't stop remarking about the "smell" in the hallways: "It's like going to your grandmother's house". (-1). “Sad rundown hotel”

No way is this a three or four star hotel. It's a two star at best. Luckily, we were only staying one night. They put us in a room next to the ice machine. “A different hotel”

I like to stay at hotels which are "different", that are hotels I remember. This hotel is different. The room was nice and clean. The entire hotel was well decorated, and the food was good. Good service. And a hotel which I will remember since it is place with character!

My husband and I enjoyed our night in the newer "tower", section of the Santa Maria Inn. The whole Inn is very well maintained and decorated with lovely old furniture and decorative touches. A very beautiful historic hotel with friendly staff, especially in reception. Accommodation in a first floor was not so good, Not safe feeling. Windows were loose as they had been open. I did not understand what caused the experience. Noise outside came through.
