Our room, a suite, was very nice, the bed comfortable, and plenty of room. This hotel is probably a 3-4 star with a 5-star hotel staff. From the front desk staff to the cleaning, restaurant and bell staff, they are all wonderful and very helpful. Location is a few blocks from the beach. More

Despite what others have said, it is an EASY and safe walk to promanade shops and pier. Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. My Mom and I stayed there while my dad was at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital for surgery. We had lots of unforseen issues and the staff was there with wheel chairs, extending our stay, being compassionate about the situation, and helping (everyone) to make our stay as best as it could be given the circumstances.
