Everybody was so friendly here, offering bananas for our hike and extra lotion for our super dry skin. Good breakfast, too, and very comfortable bed. We were mostly just passing through on our way to Joshua Tree, and it was relatively convenient. Not too much going on in the town, but that's not what we were there for.

Located on 29 Palms Hwy, we drove past it thinking the hotel would be located closer to Joshua Tree Park. This is my third year staying here. We had two rooms. Stayed three nights. Very quiet (smile), except for the 6am fire alarm, but that was not big deal (though I was dressed by the time the alarm went silent). All four of us thought this was one of the best hotels. period.

They strive to cut costs at the expense of customer service. We were a party of three. The first night we had to go down because there was no soap and only one bath towel in the room.
