My boyfriend and I couldn't find a campsite since they were still all closed and we were lucky to run into Wayside. The staff was so kind and friendly and the fact their adorable retriever just roamed around and greeted guests made two tired travelers feel like home. The rooms are on the smaller side and a little old fashioned... More

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place is a DUMP!!! They charged us over $100 a night and they are too cheap to give us shampoo!!! Our room had a funny smell to it. Shower stall is small and water leaked all over the floor. Bathroom is VERY tiny. We will not be returning here!

cramped room barely big enough for luggage (1 medium size bag per person). shower stall is small too and will leak all over the floor. No Shampoo given! and they didn't mention this when we booked! No coffee maker too. Heating doesn't work well either its overly hot or not turned on. We got a much better room at the... More

OK location close to Breckenridge and Keystone. No services within a walking distance. A good bed, and the breakfast beats some of the hotels in the region. Small and tired bathroom with a dirty and stained shower curtain, but hot water worked just fine. The gas heating system is terrible making a lot of noise and the room temperature to... More

While showering, lost water pressure, muddy water then flowed through the shower, faucet and toilet. Water then stopped completely. With shampoo still in my hair, and dirty water all over me, I asked for a refund to check into another hotel to finish taking a shower. At that point they told me to finish my shower with the outdated jugs... More

Not very crowded, had a peaceful feel. About 2 miles from town and Breck mountain. 3 miles up Tiger rd is a great place to hike and take the dog. Hot tub at the hotel was a definite plus! Seemed to be family owned, husband and wife at the front desk, very nice and helpful.

Tom, the owner, is a great guy and takes care of his people. The rooms are serviceable, nothing you would want to spend a lot of time in but great for a place to stay when you are on a budget. The morning breakfast is fabulous!

The Wayside had very clean rooms, super friendly and helpful owners/management, and a decent continental pre-ski breakfast in front of a real fire (a rarity in Summit County). It is an older, basic motel, not a fancy hotel. Very few frills, for instance they don't give out shampoo, but the linens are very clean, the TVs are big... better than... More

stuck here for 4 nights between christmas and new years. may have new furniture but not remodeled. paint peeling, mildewed shower curtain, and old noisy heater. no bathtub just a small standup shower. not 2 minutes to town as advertised. it is a minimum of 10 minutes to downtown breckenridge from this MOTEL. apris ski snacks are leftovers from breakfast... We were booked for one night but decided to stay for two nights. The owners were so helpful and accommodating in helping us extend our visit. The room was spotless. The beds and bedding are wonderful - I told people "I slept at-home good!" while at the Wayside. The bathroom is small and there is just a shower - but... More
