We normally like QIs. However we were very disappointed in this one. Room smelled really bad of some type cleaning fluid. Wifi was worthless. Will not go again. Also room was pricey and needed a lot of work.

The staff here was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and smelled that way. It had a coffee pot and hair dryer. We stayed here two days and enjoyed our stay. This is definitely an older hotel. The wi-fi isn't the best. But the beds are comfortable and quiet rooms. And to have a fridge with an actual freezer to re-freeze the ice packs I carry for my bad back is very much a plus. We have stayed here many times because we like Canon City - lots of fun things to do, and a close get-away for us.. We were pleasantly surprised to see they have re-done many areas, including reception and hallway carpets. Older, very worn motel with a slapdash upgrading of new paint sloppily applied. The hallways reeked of tobacco, even though it is non-smoking. This is a sprawling old hotel first opened in the early '70s as a Ramada Inn. Current ownership has tried to redecorate, but operating with a 40-year old building has its limitataion.
