When we mentioned to the staff that we would be leaving early, they offered to set up breakfast earlier than normal for us. That was an unexpected bit of extra attention that we very much appreciated. The staff was also otherwise helpful and friendly. The room was quite spacious. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time in the hotel pool. The location of the hotel was great. The selection of restaurants nearby was minimal.

dirty, smelly, worn out; pool and hot tub water was pea green; moldy smell throughout the building; rude morning clerk; a flophouse for itinerant constriction workers. in a word, soul-crushing. (one bright note: check-in clerk in afternoon/evening was friendly and helpful.)
