5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2013 NEW

We recently returned to The Broadmoor for a business meeting. It had been a few years since we'd been there (again for a meeting) and it was wonderful being back there. We typically prefer small boutique hotels but somehow The Broadmoor manages to provide that specialness even though it's quite large. The rooms are very elegant; the grounds are beautiful;... More

For the third year in a row, my husband and I vacationed at The Broadmoor while I attended the marvelous Barbecue University. What a delightful, beautiful, and enormous campus! This time we stayed in one of the Cottages: this one overlooking the golf course. Truly magnificent. The great thing about The Broadmoor is service: every employee seems genuinely dedicated to... Stayed Jun 6 & 7th. The hotel is lovely, artwork spectacular and grounds immaculate. Awesome service, they don't always get it right (few bumbles and mixed-up food orders), but they try. Rooms well appointed. Corkscrew & bottle opener ++. Blow dryer +. But, cheap rate = icky room. The first night we stayed in rm 4200. The balcony sits on... More

The Broadmoor is a unique property with the mountain range right outside the grounds. Impressive golf course but pricey and very tough greens. Rooms are good sized and the staff is very helpful throughout the property. You need to be ready to walk especially if you are there on a convention because the property is so large. The walks are... We enjoyed our return visit to The Broadmoor, the classically elegant resort with top notch service. The many updates and improvements were noticeable as was the highly trained staff's expert approach at every encounter. The spa is awesome. The food, delicious. The Broadmoor turns room service into an art. One cannot do better in the mountain west than The Broadmoor.

Spent three days at a conference there for business, but stayed at a different facility due to occupancy at the last minute. The staff was one of the best trained, friendly, attentive group of people I've come across. You expect great surroundings, food etc. at a five star place, but these folks really went above and beyond. If you asked... More

The Broadmoor is breathtaking from the moment you arrive. It is very classy. I enjoyed every single place in this resort. The infinity pool is beautiful, have lunch by this pool while admiring the mountains, have dinner by the lake at Charles Court , and you can't miss a fancy dinner at the Penrose Room with a live band and... The Broadmoor is a beautiful, elegant resort in a spectacular setting. It is very expensive and it was rather annoying to then be charged a "facilities fee" on top of the already pricey accomodations. The family fun package was also expensive and the included activities did not justify the $135 plus it cost. Tipping became almost humorous given the number... More

We spent three nights, and it was not long enough. Self contained resort with 9 restaurants, golf, terrific fitness center. Our room was in the South Tower with a view of the lake, nice buildings across the lake, and the Cheyenne mountains in the distance. We asked for and received a room with a balcony. It enhanced our enjoyment. Not... More

We were here for a corporate event which showed us the broad spectrum of services that the Broadmoor handles; from small private cocktail parties in cottages, to giant outdoor tent events with food stations, entertainment and dancing. Not one detail was missed! The service in the restaurants and hotel is world class. A small selection of shops, including a bookstore... More
