It is really a Holiday Inn. Applebees next door is horrid, dirty and bad service. Staff at Downtown Durango Inn doesn't know how to run a credit card without mistakes. Skip this one. More

we felt this was a really good hotel, ideally located for downtown Durango and the narrow gauge railway. like most of the accommodations on our trip, this hotel was good, clean and spacious. No free breakfast, but there is a very good restaurant about 100 yds away, good breakfasts at sensible prices. we would certainly stay there again. More

The hotel is located one block next to the Downtown. It's also right next to the river walk trail. The only drawback is none of the rooms have a good view of the river in case you are looking for a view. The front office staff is friendly.It's good for staying for a night or two. More
