Facility was very comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly and the fact you could view the river and river walk was incredible. Also located close enough to downtown for an easy walk to all it had to offer

“Nice accommodations on the river”

Nice accommodation which allowed pets. In walking distance to dog park, biking & walking trails. Restaurant and bar was fair, no atmosphere. Pool/Hot tub was nice. Able to watch rafters from our room! Would recommend.

“Great Hotel”

Got the hypo-allergenic room, clean and felt like I can breathe better eventhough I don't suffer from allergies, but only rooms available at the time. Excellent and great location because it's a few blocks away from the main strip of downtown Durango and train station. Definitely would stay again if I come back and the pool is awesome too...

“great place to stay”

Stumbled across this hotel but happy we did. We had a terrific overnight stay at this hotel. Restaurant was excellent for dinner. Location is great with a good long river walk right there! Highly recommend.

“Great spot, right on the river!”

What a great place along the Animas River. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the river. Although located on the fork from Rt168 and Rt550, it did not bother me. “Great location and pet friendly!”

We only stayed in Durango one night while moving across the country and the Doubletree was the perfect choice. My husband is in the military and the government rate was very reasonable. “Downtown treasure in the middle of attractions”

This hotel was lovely. Clean, well kept up and full of friendly staff. I had a room facing the river, so getting a chance to sit on the balcony and watch the water was worth the price of admission. Graduation Family Gathering Great location , very convenient to town. Overall service was great. Food was overpriced for quality at dinner. Wished rooms had mini fridge for price. Check in service was great

“durango riverside”

Nice situation in Downtown by the river. nice big rooms and very good facilities with onsite restaurant. other hotels nearby certainly cheaper. Good pool & exercise are with nice outlook to river. No fridge.

“Great time in Durango”

Hotel was superior - great staff (loved the warm cookies) - rooms were clean, well-appointed. Was worth the price and they graciously accomodated us with a late check-out request. Will stay there when we return to Durango.
