This Western Colorado KOA campground is centrally located between the high desert and hiking trails of the Colorado National Monument and the tree-shaded lakes of the Grand Mesa, featuring fishing, ATV and hiking trails, and moose, elk and deer hunting. Nearby, mountain bike trails in all directions offer terrain very similar to Moab without the crowds. The Colorado River offers rafting from "mild", 2-hour trips to "WILD" full-day trips; you can even catch a horseback ride! Bring your rod and reel, because great trout fishing is just a short drive away from the campground.
The KOA Holiday in Grand Junction, CO is by far the best RV park in Grand Junction, and there are a number of them here. We have family in the area so we have stayed at all but two of the other parks but once we tried the KOA we had found our second home. We have stayed here multiple times through the years and the owners remember us every time and even remember I've had some health issues. They are just the nicest people you would ever want to meet. This year when we came in for the holidays a snow storm was chasing us and we were one day ahead of it. The owners agreed to let us come a day earlier than our reservation and we got in and set up before the snow started to fly. Our grandkids love coming to stay with us here and enjoy all the amenities (the pool, the game room, mini golf and the bounce pad). The place is maintained meticulously and every year we find new improvements have been made. The wifi was upgraded this year and it's even possible to stream on your tv now. The hookups are great all year long, even water. Cable tv is, like many rv parks we've stayed in, not the clearest but it works and we get tv over the antenna as well. All the rv spaces are spacious and have a paved area with a table and grass for our dogs and the pull throughs are long enough for the largest rigs. There are two dog parks as well. The spaces have a good amount of gravel and upgraded spots are awesome. They have covered picnic tables, large grassy areas, a bench and a gas bbq. I just can't recommend KOA Holiday Grand Junction enough.…

We stayed here in our class A, site B03. It was just barely long enough to hold our 35 foot plus our small car. The site was level and clean. I loved the excellent internet service and lots of cable television channels. :). The bathrooms were clean. I was disappointed the pool was already closed as of 9/22/23 but it seems like all the KOA’s we’ve been staying at lately close their pools by this time. We paid $65 a night with the KOA discount, I’d stay here again, but I wish the employees were more friendly. They kind of act like they don’t even see you!

We had a Camper Cabin that was in a sweet location. There were chairs on the deck and a table and chairs outside as well as a nice BBQ grill and fire pit. A fridge, microwave, TV, ac, and fans inside. Lots of trees and grass. Just a pleasant environment. The cabin was clean and so were the restrooms. Great service from the office. All around a good experience. The only thing I can say negative is that it is right on 50 and there is road noise.

This is a great little RV park. The staff are wonderful and try their hardest to make your stay wonderful. Park is clean and utilities are wonderful. Great place to stay to relax or go see the area. Easy in and out even in a 45’ Motorhome. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a surprisingly good park for being in Grand Junction. Staff is amazing and grounds are meticulously maintained. Big, well-distanced sites all with grass and trees. Easy access for larger rigs. Bathrooms were great. Lots of things to do for kids - pool, jumpy thing, putt-putt miniature golf, play structures, etc. Close enough to town for quick food delivery.

Staff was super friendly and helpful during both check in and checkout. It's off 50 but can only access from one side. Gravel pad was level and we had a pull thru slot. The fenced dog area is not good for playing catch. There are 2 and have bags provided.

The RV park is nice but our spot backs up to the fairgrounds stables. It is bearable until the wind blows. If you enjoy the smell of horse manure and having that dust blow on you then this is the place for you. Otherwise, don't stop. Too bad because the staff is great and the sites are roomy.

I have stayed at a lot of KOAs across the US and I will say this one ranks among the best a cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers. The two ladies that worked the welcome desk were awesome, friendly and full of energy. Stepped back in the office before it closed and after 3 hours, was still greeted by name. Owners should be proud of this location and its staff.

We arrived in our Class B for a two night stay. We had another couple tenting who came along and had a pea gravel tent site. They placed our sites across from each other which made it easy to enjoy an evening campfire close by to each other. The check in was seem less and the camp store was well equipped for those last minute needs. Within 5 minutes of the campground were grocery and convenience stores to grab other sundries. The bathrooms and showers were some of the cleanest I have seen at a KOA. My wife even remarked at how clean their shower house was. The bathroom doors had security access codes to keep out non guests. The Wifi worked great. Palisade wine country was 15-20 minutes from the campground. Downtown Grand Junction (restaurants, shopping) is 5-10 minutes away. Colorado National Monument was a short 20 minute drive to access wonderful hikes. We will keep this KOA on our list of campgrounds that we wouldn't hesitate to return and visit. A very very nice, small campground. …
