We had stayed here years ago. This time, we were traveling with dogs over the Christmas holiday. I wanted a room large enough to hold two large folding dog crates since we would be a week. We got a cabin with two rooms - it was great since I am early riser and husband is not. Dogs and I could... More

We stayed at the El colorado Lodge last weekend and had the best time ever. Our cabin was abosolutly charming. We had a cozy fire both evenings there. The cabins are spotless and the service was top notch. The owners are truly the nicest people we have ever met. We have already made a return reservation for December and plan... More

This was the second time I've stayed at El Colorado Lodge in Manitou Springs. The rates are great ($49-79/room depending on bed size). This time, I stayed in a king room with a fireplace. It actually had two bedrooms with a bathroom. The rooms are a good size and would be fine for a small family. This isn't a typical... More

We picked the El Colorado Lodge on a whim as we drove through Manitou. It was an excellent choice! Ended up with a 2-room, 3-bed lodge which was more room than we needed. The place had a quaint cabin feel and we slept well with the windows open. In the morning I found two deer roaming the lawn behind our... More

El Colorado Lodge is a very quaint lodge in the cute little town of Manitou Springs. It is very affordable and in a great location. It isn't very modern, but perfect for a mountain retreat and relaxing time. It's literally 5 minutes from the beautiful Garden of the Gods and many other attractions. Easy to find and very accommodating!

Rooms 15-18 were clean with new TV and 2nd bedroom is very friendly for children (2 double beds in BR 2, King in main room) Kept to much better standard than reported in prior reviews. Recommend for family mountain vacation.

This is the second time our family stayed here. Not fancy but there were comfortable beds and a serviceable kitchen.Pool and hot tub are great. Not a lot of housekeeping-clean towels and coffee but many times the beds weren't made. Not a big deal to us but might be to some. Staff were very accommodating. We will likely stay here... More

A great place to visit to acclimatise to us time. We liked the local town of Manitou springs. An ethnic feel, with veggie resturants and mystic shops. Disliked the noise from the freeway just behind the lodges. Liked the pool, hot tub and staff. Gave us pool towels and basketballs to play out he back.

We stayed here for our family reunion the last weekend of July 2012. It is the perfect place for such an occasion. We reserved cabin #2 for our base and 4 other cabins to sleep in. Cabin #2 is huge and can be set up with beds or tables and chairs. Our family congregated there and had the best time.... More

We recently stayed at this facility and found the accomodations to be very adequate. This is not a place that is full of frills but is well suited for those that just need a place to land for the evening while playing during the day. It was clean. The pool was very nice and heated. The staff was friendly and... More
