- Silverthorne La Quinta

We stayed at this hotel after a wedding in Silverthorne. It was nice that Old Chicago was there (and open) for late night food and cocktails. Also, within walking distance for morning breakfast. Hotel rooms were standard. Clean, but paper-thin walls. Average price, average beds, parking available (non-covered). If I had to stay in Silverthorne over night again, I'd most...

Even though some of the reviews of this hotel were not good, we decided to book it for our ski trip to Copper Mountain. It was a two-night stay on Friday and Saturday, so we could hit the slopes and ski school early on Saturday and Sunday.
One key reason was that it had an Old Chicago restaurant in the...

I'm sure other rooms are fine, but unless you're a middle-aged man looking to relive his glory years by summiting the matterhorn, the top-floor rooms ought to be off-limits. They're bad for old ladies, kids, pets, wifes, drunk college students, sorority sisters, communists, pinkos, wierdos, hippies and anyone else that skis...
The bathroom was small. Very small. I had to...

I've stayed at La Quinta in Silverthorne before and once again, I was not disappointed. The beds are super comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The high speed Wifi in the room is free and the complimentary breakfast is just fine. No, it's not the Ritz but it's a step above the other roadside motels in the area. I...

We stayed in December 2011 and really enjoyed it. Great location to both Breckenridge and Keystone and loved how close it was to the dining options in Dillon and Silverthorne. Nothing to write home about but if you can get a good price it's most definitely worth it. Also great to have Old Chicago onsite if you feel like grabbing...

Stayed here for only one night. We were on the 3rd floor and facing east. We arrived about 11 and was able to get my room right away.
Our room was a double queen, standard room. The room was dated, but was SUPER clean, which was excellent to see. The bathroom was tiny. I mean TINY. You had to stand...

The La Qunita Inn in Silverthorne Co. is by far one of the better place to stay while skiing at A-basin, Beaver Creek, Breckinridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Vail. They have swimming pool, hot tub, breakfast. comfy beds, restraunt (old chicago) and a ski shop with rentals. And they allow dogs to stay free... AND MY DOG LOVES IT SO...

The oddest thing ever in my travels. Check in was at 3 pm which I understand that part that I didn't understand, was there was a lobby full of people waitiing to check in, and the desk clerks would rudely tell people check in was not until 3 pm and made everyone sit there and watch the clock
One unsuspecting...

This is our fifth family ski season and we've stayed at a number of resorts in the area...this particular Inn and Suites is among the best in value, quality and customer service. We plan on making another trip next week based on the money we saved and overall positive experience.
