All appeared to by clean and casual. However our bed was stiff as board. The bedside light was broken, and cobwebs in the outside window at the top. We stopped here for two nights during August 2012. We had previously stopped in the Wyman Hotel, Silverton, but when we arrived they only had suites available, so we decided on the Teller House instead. We made a good choice....... Teller House has a real ambience. A lovely place to stay. No air-conditioning which wasn't great for me but acceptable given mostly everything else was in order. Not a fan of common bathrooms but again we could overlook that in favour of the experience. Clean.

the rooms were cute and all individually decorated. Really gives you the real Silverton experience. No Televisions, which is a lovely idea. If you are on the main street it is a little noisy, but it quiets down early. Great little hotel - great evening!

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Teller House on several occasions and each was a delight. Having never been to Silverton, we didn't know what to expect. Based on reviews of this hotel, we called ahead to see if there were any rooms available not realizing that our visit was a week before this sleepy little mountain town shuts down.
