5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 May 2013 NEW

We had the pleasure of eating at the Twin Lakes Inn. It was fabulous. Throughout the years, we've eaten and stayed there, but this was really a treat. The new owners have really done a first class job renovating the rooms, yet keeping the charm of an old inn. It would be a fun place for a week-end get away.... More

We had the pleasure of dining at the Inn which has been totally renovated to meet the demands of today's B and B travelers. As the realtor who had the Inn listed for two years before Liz, James, and their partners purchased it, I am "blown away" at the physical plant as well as the first class cuisine of executive... Don't pass through Twin Lakes, Colorado without dining at the Twin Lakes Inn. The food is delicious, creative and reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed. I have eaten there several times and it has been a delightful dining experience every time. The new chef and owners are just divine, friendly and just plain fun to be around. I have... More

Independence Past is the destination for most who pass through Twin Lakes, that will soon change. Exec. Chef Matt J. Roberts has been directed by owners James and Liz to create a dinning experience and cuisine that easily matches those found in the nearby resorts of Aspen, Beaver Creek, and Vail. Holy Doodles, has he. For those how have visited... More

What a find! We tried to drive through Independence Pass but found it was still closed. Doh! On the way back to Leadville we stopped at the Inn for a bite. Food was great! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and offered so much info about the area and things to do that we would have never known about.... More

We were staying at a cabin in the area and stopped for directions. We ended up eating dinner and what a great dinner it was. The best steak we have had in a long time. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We'll tell everyone we know to try out this little treasure in the mountains!

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of visiting the Twin Lakes Inn. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal in the quaint and inviting dining room, with crackling fire in the fireplace, and then spent the night in an extremely comfortable front room. The chef has created unique and wonderfully tasty dishes and the room proved to be warm,... More

We stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and and would never have come back, but recently we had dinner here and one of the new owners took us to see the work that had been done to the rooms upstairs. The difference was amazing though most of the rooms must share a bath. We would stay there again. The... More

The newly remodeled Inn is warm and inviting with wonderful touches that kindle thoughts of the past, while revering in the incredible views that fill the Inn's front windows of the upper lake of Twin Lakes, Mount Hope and Mount Quail. We have had the opportunity to dine there a few times since it opened, enjoying amazing food and deserts... More

The Inn has been refurbished and spruced up without losing the charm of the historic building in Twin Lakes Village. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the lodge from one of the new owners and I was very impressed. The new restaurant has a very personable and professional chef who visited with us and shared his history... More
