“Peaceful location”

We stayed for two nights here in February. The Lodge is run by Tom and Des, who were great hosts. There is a cantankerous old dog in residence too- but he stays away from guests. “Beautiful Location and Marvellous Hosts”

Have not relaxed so well for a long time. Waterfall, beach, jetty, fishing, mountain climbing and beautiful greenery. On top of this Des and Tom were amazing hosts. The food was absolute fresh and devine. Maraetai Beach lovely in the rain and the sunshine. Des and Tom are always there to make it a happy holiday. 100% recommended

“Wonderful honeymoon destination”

We have just arrived back home after our wonderful experience at Tory Lodge in the Malborough sounds. What an amazing place. Clean, modern and cosy with everything you could need. Tory Lodge in New Zealand's Marlborough sounds is wonderful in every respect. Tom and Des are truly gracious hosts. All of our expectations were met and exceeded during our stay at Tory Lodge. Des and Tom are extremely gracious and welcoming hosts, creating a comfortable and fun atmosphere from beginning to end. We stayed 5 nights at the appartment of Tory Lodge. A fantastic place with great owners/hosts. We stayed here for two nights as we travelled around the south island on our honeymoon. A fantastic retreat from start to finish, we were met on the jetty by Tom & Des, settled in and offered a drink. Dinner was fantastic, fresh blue cod.
