I spent two nights at the Nathan Hale Inn while visiting UConn on business. I liked it better than I expected, though it wasn't a place to rave about. The room was spacious, and the bed quite comfortable. I would have happily slept for longer there! Free wifi was faster than normal for hotels, even at peak evening hours. In... More

I LOVE Nathan Hle Inn, but you have to realize that there was no-such-place when I was a UConn student! The location is great, the food is better than average and the staff is always extremely friendly. It books up fast during special events, so plan ahead if you want the convenience of being on campus!

February 5, 2013 My husband and I follow the Uconn woman's basketball team. We When we are lucky enough to have tickets to a game on campus we always stay at the Nathan Hale. It is lovely. The rooms are very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Because it is right on campus it is just a short walk to... More

After reading some reviews, I was nervous about staying here. The hotel's location at UConn was perfect for our needs, so we took a chance. We were glad we did. Our room was very clean and obviously updated, we weren't bothered by anyone's noise, and the staff was pleasant. We got the sense that this could be a very busy... More

Cons: borderline awful room. TONS of noise from a clunky heater that sounded like someone was banging and rattling the machinery, which woke us every five minutes when it cycled on. Broken bathroom faucet that could only be on full blast. Missing parts from the toilet. Holes in the walls. Dresser drawers that would not open. Remote did not always... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are disapointed there were issues with your room; every room is inspected daily and the issues you mention should not happen and have been corrected. We are proud to be part of the University and during the holiday break we host some student athletes, we are proud of our Huskies! Also a comprehensive renovation... More

This is an odd hotel. People working there are very nice, but at the time I stayed there they seemed to be using one of the floors of the hotel for student overflow housing, so it felt in some ways more like a dorm than a real hotel. I’d booked an executive king, when I went to my room on... More

Stayed here last year, not much has changed since then, front desk clerk seemed indifferent, bed and especially pillows were probably the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. Furnishings are dated, could definitely use a remodel, considering it's been open about 10 years, I think it's about due for one. Housekeeping supervisor seemed unhappy and unfriendly. Very... More

I stayed here while attending a conference at UCONN. My stay was pleasant and my room was very clean. Although not overly friendly, the staff was helpful. I ate at both restaurants and the food was decent and came out quickly. The service for breakfast was sometimes slow to get started as you would sit in the dining room alone... More
