No, this hotel isn't right on the beach. Yes, you are going to have to walk down Rehoboth Avenue to the beach. Past lots of wonderful restaurants and cute shops and even if you walk very, very slowly and browse in each and every window, it still won't take you 10 minutes. I would rather have great service and the... More

We have been staying with the Crosswinds for four or five years now. The Crosswinds is clean, comfortable, and convenient to restaurants. Rita, the manager is so very kind and helpful, as is Alina, her capable office assistant. The cleaning staff is extremely polite and accomodating. If you are staying in Rehoboth, you will not be disappointed if you stay... More

We arrived a little late for check-in, but Rita was still there waiting for us. She was so genuine and kind and it was a great first impression of Rehoboth Beach and the Crosswinds Motel. Our room was really cute, comfortable and perfectly located. I loved the bath goodies that came in the room, and felt like they went the... More

Stayed here on a short getaway weekend. Decided that since it was rather cool out (mid October), staying near the boardwalk wasn't important. One very nice thing about the Crosswinds is that is two doors down from a favorite place of mine: Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats. Woohoo! Long visits to the bar, lots of good food...and I didn't have... More

This was a great choice to stay! After my boyfriend and I decided to stay for another day/night in Rehobeth we went to Crosswinds. The owner is great and welcoming and even gave a discount! We will be back!! I recommend this place to everyone! More

My family and I checked into 2 rooms for a total of close to $300. This I thought was just a little high, but accepted it hoping for a good night sleep after visiting the beach and shops and dining. 2 doors down from my room was a group of very extremely loud, drunk obnoxious individuals. They partied outside until... More

A couple of friends and I stayed at Crosswinds during a recent trip to Rehoboth Beach that was focused basically on enjoying the Dogfish Head Brewpub which is located 2 doors down. The location of this motel couldn't have been better for that. We were greeted by a very affable and pleasant woman who was eager to tell us about... More

Wonderfully clean and boutiquey for what is called a motel. Deluxe bath products, sleek decor from paint to bath fixtures. But: No closet or hooks and few hangers to dry your beachy stuff. A nice iron but no ironing board. Another downfall is something I wish climate control companies would throw massive research dollars at: noisy through-the-wall air conditioners. It... More

My wife and I stayed here during a mid-week beach getaway. The facility is very basic, but more than adequate for us. We found our room to be extremely clean, well stocked with towels, coffee, and tea. It's a very quick walk to the beach and just steps away from one of my favorite places in Rehoboth Beach, Dogfish Head... More
