Great location very close to beach and inland waterway. Well appointed cottages. 20th year in a row visiting Tradewinds. Lovely pool and dock for relaxation. Laundry on site. Multiple good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nothing better!

We loved our short week on Anna Maria island in this cute little self-catering cottage on the Tradewinds resort. The resort is small with 20 or so small cottages each of which has access to the on-site pool and fishing dock. Our cottage was immaculately clean, and the property had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, and there was an additional outdoor grill as well. While there is a pool on-site, we spent our day on the beautiful beach just a short walk, whereby you can use the resort's free sunbeds. Each property comes equipped with a beach umbrella as well In terms of location, the property and resort was ideally situated for all the island has to offer. The nearest supermarket was only a 5 minutes drive, and there was a stop for the free island trolley to take you up to the north of the island just outside the resort itself. It is also only a 15 minute walk down to Bridge Street where there is a clutch of restaurants and bars Overall, would 100% recommend this property and would gladly book again

Trade winds is a picturesque and well appointed resort with good quality self catering accommodation and a shared pool as well as being only 50 yards from the beach. We have stayed there several times now and love Tradewinds and AMI and all it has to offer - plenty of restaurants, pretty houses, convenient high quality supermarket, easy cycling, agree trolley service and of course miles of well maintained white sandy beaches. Who can ask for more? Ideal for couples and families. Cant recommend enough.

A fabulous resort on a wonderful island - less than 100 metres from both the Gulf of Mexico and the inland waterway. Friendly staff, very well maintained and excellent value for money. We have been coming to Tradewinds for 17 years and it never disappoints.

This was my 3rd time staying here. Pet friendly. Deluxe north cottages and Bayfront cottages were great. beach directly across the street. Pets are not allowed on beach. Some restaurants within walking distance and pet friendly. Check in was great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I will be staying there again. They also have swimming pool . I highly recommend it. The Bayfront cottage has beautiful view .

Although we only stayed for one night, the hospitality was wonderful. Javier gave us a warm welcome at check-in; was helpful and informative. The deluxe cottage we reserved was super cute and spotless. The resort is located in a beautiful beach town with all the conveniences nearby, walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

The Tradewinds Resort was conveniently located across from the beach & near several restaurants. The trolley stops are close by & run all day & to about 10pm. Our unit #9 had an updated kitchen & bath. The only items that needed attention were the shower knob which was very hard to turn & the exhaust fan was very loud. Otherwise the unit was perfect for our stay. Oma’s Restaurant had great Italian food & we enjoyed prime rib at Sharky’s. Both were close to the Tradewinds.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at Tradewinds. When we arrived we were early & I had not called to request early check in. Our room was not ready. We did not get a rental car so we had no where to put our things. The receptionist was amazing. So sweet & welcoming & allowed us to stow our luggage in her office until our room was ready & explained everything in depth. The phone was ringing a lot while we were in there & she was so patient & kind w/ us. We went & had some lunch while we waited & she called to inform us our room was ready & gave us some fresh pool & beach towels to start. Upon entering our room which was right across from the office, I noticed how clean & well represented it was. I liked that our room was close to the road since we didn't have a vehicle it was a few less steps to the road (room #3) but the neighbors were loud most nights, only kept me up one night w/ music. It is not on Tradewinds property so I doubt there is much they can do about that. We enjoyed that the beach was right across the street. Smoqehouse restaurant is right there so quick & easy to grab a bite before the beach. Tradewinds provides beach chairs & aside from dragging them across the sand while carrying beach bags, that was super convenient. They lay all the way flat for laying on stomach or back which was nice. No need to bring your own chairs, umbrella or beach blanket, just show up. Beautiful sunsets on the Gulf. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but when we go again we will be renting a golf cart or car. This is a great location BUT slightly inconvenient spot if you want to be in the midst of everything. It's walkable but w/ the heat & flip flops, not really what I wanted to do. The free trolley is available & nice BUT it was running behind many of the days we were there. There are other options like the Monkey Bus & a guy on a gulf cart taxi but they all stay busy. Just get a golf cart or rent bikes. Trust me. We opted to have our room cleaned once in the middle of our stay. They came sometime after we left for the beach mid day & we came back to a non sandy room & more towels. I was very pleased w/ the cleanliness of our "cottage". It was much bigger than I thought it'd be. Nice walk in closet to hang clothes & put your shoes. Kitchen was plenty spacious. Perfect for just the 2 of us. Beds were ok comfort wise, & pillows were good. Love the plants all around & the different color cottages. Very visually appealing place. We only used the pool once. There are bathrooms, outdoor shower & an ice machine there. The bay stinks & the pool was not the cleanest. Pump was not even on. It's a pretty spot, & it was just us there but I can see why. The bay has lot of seaweed that does not look like seaweed if you catch my drift & it smells marshy constantly. It would be like that anywhere near the bay so I don't blame Tradewinds for that at all. Only cons were noisy neighbors which were not too bad except one night, & wish we had gotten golf cart due to Tradewinds being too far of a desired walk to where we wanted to be none of which is Tradewinds fault so I give 5 stars. Very happy w/ our choice to stay w/ them & I'd go back in a second.

This was our 3rd visit. We stayed in the deluxe north cottage #2. The room was decorated beautifully. Love that we can bring our dog with us. It’s in a great location too. Would definitely recommend this resort.

For this trip, we upgraded to the bayfront 2-bedroom. I'm so glad we did! The views are amazing, the decor is lovely, and there is plenty of space. We were able to watch the boats, the sunrise, and some dolphins. It was very quiet and serene ... with a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious porch sipping cocktails. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back! Bonus: it's pet-friendly; we love traveling with our pup!
