We are very pleased with The Birds Nest! If you are looking for a place to stay that has ocean view and just a short walk to the beach, this is it! There was road construction going on and the road was closed, but the entire crew was amazing and the owner made sure we could get to the beach. The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. I’m sure we will be back!

The apartment was very expensive but it was close to the beach. However it was run down. I could barely open the bathroom door. Much of the furniture was damaged in the house and the stairs had nails protruding out!

Everything you need for a week vacation. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer. Very nice balconies, front and back and a beach across the street. Prestaurants and bars within walking distance. Free trolley to get around so no need to drive anywhere. Thanks for your hospitality, we enjoyed our stay.

What a great find Bradenton Beach is - we loved it , fantastic white sand beach and cute High Street and Pier , loads of great bars and restaurants around and free trolley bus to get you around . The apts were in a fantastic location across the road from the beach , great view . The apts were spacious and the beds cmfortable . The decor was slightly weird and eclectic and could do with a refurbishment as outdated but that didnt really bother us . We had a wonderful time :)

This is in a delightful spot, we just left today but found the apartment itself very clean and well equipped. The hosts are very helpful, we had a wee issue and they came and resolved it immediately. We did see Dolphins right in front of us and in the resort in front of Amob on the dock. We also swam in coquina beach and were accompanied by a Manatee, you just can't buy that kind of wonder. Plus points, loads of room, clean, helpful hosts. A view to die for and car in the shade. People leave their beach Seats, floats and brollys for the next groups to use, which is a nice touch. We found the wifi to be excellent in apartment b. Downsides, yes a but tired in places but it was being painted during our stay. The resort, had quiet a few biting bugs so spray yourselves and try anti bug candles if you sit out. This is a quirky little place and comfortable.

The location is good. There's a great view of the beach and sea (providing you ignore the crane working on the beach). The place needs a re-furb. From the wonky table to the rusted table and chairs on the patio, to the old fashioned cooker and fridge, this place could do with investment. The wifi went up and down (actually more down than up) like Macey's Elevator. The small garden looked good. Would we return? No.

The search for a place was narrowed down to how many people it could accommodate and amenities. We landed on the Birds Nest and are glad we did. We pulled up and were greeted by the owner who treated us like Family. He showed us the layout of the apartment and let us know he would be there if we needed anything. Location is fantastic directly accross the street from the gulf, 1 block from bay. You can walk to all the island eateries and stores or jump on the free trolley and visit the activities of AMI. The room was great a suite upstairs and great rooms and views throughout. If looking for a great location to take the family and relax, check into the Bird's Nest on Bradenton beach.

We stayed at the Bird's Nest Apts April 23rd thru April 26th. The location couldn't be more perfect. After getting early check in with no problem at all we threw our luggage in the apt, changed into bathing suits and ran literally across the street and to the beautiful beach. The water was clear and warm. After being in for about 15 minutes we saw our first group of dolphin swimming in the water about 40 feet from us. We saw groups of dolphin every morning we were there from our deck while eating breakfast. The apt was great. Everything you need for kitchen supplies, linens, air mattress, appliances, beach chairs/toys. 4 Decks with views of the Gulf or intercostal. There is a hot tub that all could staying there could use. We didn't see anyone use it but we DID. Clean and warm and relaxing! The owners live in one of the apts and are very accommodating, easy to get along with and quick to return calls or email. Plenty of places to eat, drink or play within easy walking distance. Some of our favorites were...Island Time (casual dining), the Spa Treatment drink and black bean cakes were great. The Bridge Street Bistro, ( Upstairs from Island Time a bit fancier) a great spot to eat dinner and watch the amazing sunset. Capt. Patsey and Capt. Kathey who leave from Starfish Restaurant were both great. The Starfish Restaurant was awesome FRESH seafood right off the boats.(There is a bit of a wait but it's worth it.) If you have any questions pm me. We highly recommend the Bird's Nest Apts and plan on returning as often as we can!

This place has turned into Denny's on the beach. So sad. And no beach access at all. Get back to your roots guys. Stick with why we all started coming here to begin with. Staff has no soul. I was the only one there in a bathing suit. Thank goodness for my cover up. Really guys. What ARE you thinking. Don't waste your time here. I won't again
