Very nice campground, clean, lots of amenities, friendly staff, beautiful lake that joins Rainbow River and Rainbow Springs which offers swimming and tubing opportunities. Sites are spacious and offer great view of the lake. Nearbyl hiking opportunities on beautiful forests, great fishing on the lake. Everything a nature lover is looking for. Stayed for about 2 weeks. Our cabin was old and not the cleanest. Went out the first day and bought roach motels. I have lived on and off in central Florida since the mid 60's and although I can sympathize with some of the Tea Party's positions I did not care to have it posted all around me and shoved... More

We really enjoyed our long weekend here. Many permanent units (Rv's & Mobile homes) but the units for vacationing trailers were near the small lakefront area (& dock & boat ramp). Certainly not a hotel, but a well kept RV property off of Lake Rousseau managed and maintained by a fantastic family. Pool is clean, RV sites are roomy, rental cabins are park model mobiles.
