The Seafarer Beach Resort is an adult only beachfront resort located in Englewood, Florida. The Seafarer facility spans the width of the long, narrow barrier island of Manasota Key, offering both bay and beach access. The peace and tranquility of life on Manasota Key can be a welcome respite from the hectic pace of everyday life, as well as from the more well-known and, therefore, more crowded vacation destinations. Manasota Key is Southwest Florida's best kept secret. There are no high-rises, no crowds, no condos, and no traffic lights, just a two-lane road and pristine beaches.

Great location! Friendly staff. Only feet from the beach. My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We were in unit 1. We were very comfortable. Breakfasts and lunches were cooked in the unit and suppers were at some great restaurants in the area. Sept. is wet and we enjoyed the showers and storm surf which brought a lot of sharks teeth and shells to the beach. We highly recommend it!

We stayed at this place for two nights. Our apt. was impeccably clean, and we got apartment number one which had a beautiful balcony view to the ocean. The pool was clean and ready for us anytime we would come back from the beach. This is a very relaxing place, not crowded and peaceful. There is a city center 15 minutes away which allowed us to do some groceries and cook meals in the apartment. Quite a pleasant stay. We would really recommend it, and we will definitely come back. Thank you Suzanne at the reception desk for your warm welcome and for checking on us, Also thank you so much Zach for your kindness and hospitality.

We had a wonderful time at this little resort on the beach. The weather was perfect, the people at the resort are so friendly and helpful and I cant say enough great things about them going over and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The beach was great, the pool was warm and we had it to ourselves most of the time. They have pool floats, beach towels and chairs and also equipment for hunting shark teeth!. Thanks for a great week. Bill and Gina

My sister in law who lives down the street from seafarer found this resort for my husband's birthday. 1st day was fine the 2nd day we get a knock on our door and we met SUZANNE,, who point her finger at me and said we need to talk. She informed us that visitors must sign in they can't use swimming pool, stay for appetizer or small dinner and leave, need to park at beach parking and walk over but you can't stay long. They were not there to swim. We are 70 year old people that don't party but she assumed we were going too. What a nut case. They management needs to inform quest of the rules when they sign in, nothing on web site, they don't tell you anything they just assum you MIGHT do something. She told us can't stay long to visit does she time you?

It's time for the Seafarer Beach Resort to drop "resort" from its name. Resort implies a certain level of guest accommodations which are missing at the Seafarer. There's no daily maid service. Per their rules, guests can exchange used towels every other day at the office during office hours. While I don't agree with a "private beach", Seafarer advertises their beach as a private beach. Seafarer is located adjacent to the Manasota Key Public Beach and Park. Beach goers avoid the crowded beach and set up their umbrellas and tents in front of the Seafarer. Not very private. The WiFi was spotty and Dish cable TV went out when it rained. There's a clothesline strung in front of each unit that just doesn't give me that resort feel when towels and swimsuits are hanging at the entrance to each unit. The unit I was in had been freshly painted and updated but the window air conditioner in the bedroom was so noisy that it had to be turned off at night. Imagine turning off the a/c in Florida at night. Some of the reviews of the Seafarer Beach mentioned the beautiful sunsets. Anywhere you stay on Florida's west coast, there's beautiful sunsets. No need to stay at the Seafarer just for the sunsets. Also, Seafarer, you may want to update your website. The lush landscaped courtyard gives someone the impression that all the property looks like that. My posted photo reflects what the apartments look like if you look around the back. Unit 3 doesn't have twin beds. Thankfully, I was informed of that when I made my reservation over the phone.

This resort is a hidden gem. Quiet, private and easy access to the beach. There is a pool that is beach front as well. The rooms were clean, customer service was impeccable and overall a great stay. We will be back.

We've come here numerous times over the years. Great location, wonderful staff, really nice accommodations. This is not a glass-and-chrome resort, but a 60s/70s kinda place that has been updated to the 21st century. Comfy bed, adequate kitchen, nice bathroom, good AC, good WiFi and TV for when you aren't on the not-crowded beach. What more could you ask? Mask-wearing, distance practicing staff that make you feel welcome and cared for, who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Fabulous wildlife -- we got to swim with wild manatee who came to check us out, and watch sea turtles come ashore at the full moon high tide to lay their clutches of eggs. Plus birds galore.

Can’t believe I’ve lived in Tampa and never knew about this hidden gem. One of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever been. Tucked away on a private beach, my girlfriend and I had such a romantic stay. Their team was so hospitable, even letting us borrow bicycles and paddle boards that we took out on the ocean. We saw dolphins, manatees, and a sunset to die for. Seafarer Resort is highly recommended and we will definitely be visiting again!

We stayed in this cute little hotel end of February. My hubby and I needed a relaxing get away from hectic South Florida. My neighbor Lilly highly recommend this quiet place just 3.5 hours away. 2 week later my husband and I were in the car heading north. Let me tell you this place is everything we expected and more. Ed the Hotel manager was more than welcoming and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. We rented the upstairs Unit overlooking the ocean. No better place to watch the sunset! We brought our paddle boards and went out for a workout every morning:) My highlight of the stay was having drinks and grilling every night with Judy and Gary from unit 8. We already booked our next stay. Can’t wait to go back. I give this hotel 5*****!

A huge thank you to Ed for allowing us to take my husband in his wheelchair to watch one beautiful last sunset. Because of Covid-19 all the public beaches were closed. My son call Ed and explained what we wanted to do and was compassionate and understanding in allowing myself and my three children to experience his last sunset. You see, Parkinson’s is claiming his life as I am writing this review. I am so grateful. I can tell you this is a beautiful little neat, clean property right on the beach with a pool. If you want seclusion and a personal touch this is what you will have at this property. It is close to many restaurants, shopping and plenty of things to do. Thank you!
