I was attending a family member's wedding at Pier Sixty-Six and made a reservation to stay also. I reserved on line and was given an option to "upgrade" the room if there was an upgrade available, for a nominal fee. I was able to get an upgrade which worked out very well. The room was huge, the view was outstanding... More

Let's begin with the reservation - purchased thru bid on Priceline = $75/night. Room was in Lanai (requested tower and was offered upgrade for add'l $40/night. Reason for trip: pre-cruise night Pros: Great location, remodeled, nicely appointed room, walked from room onto draw bridge to view/photo about 6 huge ships, pre-cruise shopping nearby, good restaurants nearby, close to airport, room... I made the mistake of booking with priceline, and when you do, you're sent to the ''motel'' section, unless you request an upgrade at the hotel, and pay the difference to be in the hotel tower. I am not a picky person, I didn't mind so much the long walk to the room, that I had to do 3 times... More

On initial appearance, the hotel looks great. The location is excellent and the surrounding intercoastal waterway and marina are beautiful. However, that is where the positives for this hotel end. I was given a room overlooking the beautiful marina, but the room was very tired and worn-looking. The carpet was stained, the walls dirty and scuffed and the doors all... More

We stayed at the Hyatt for vacation in late September 2011. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful and the pool is beautiful. The bar in the lobby is pricey, but not unexpected due to the hotel's location. It's a fun place to be in the evenings as well. The pool bar/staff/food were all excellent and I have no... More

The Hyatt Pier 66 is a nice resort type hotel. The property is not on the beach but it is close by. Pool and common grounds are kept very nicely. Staff is friendly even when hotel is extremely busy. Rooms a clean and large. I stayed in a tower room with a great view of the inter coastal water way... More

This place is crumbling and worn around the edges. Furniture is cracking or dirty, and I think we saw bedbugs (or some kind of fast-crawling, tiny bug) in the bedroom. Also, we had a terrible experience with the beach shuttle. The driver said he would pick us up at 15 past the hour. We showed up at 13 past the... More

When my wife and I arrived at this hotel following an 11 hour flight and an extra hour at passport control we were met by an inexperienced member of staff on reception who eventually directed us to our pre-booked room. The room was situated by the pool area. It was very tired and needed a complete update. The wooden blinds... More
