The hotel is overall old and not very clean. The room was pretty spacious but the bathroom was awful. The pool is pretty big but not very welcoming. We had complimentary breakfast but decided not to taste it as it was looking very bad.

In our last minute vacations we were left with one night without room in the hotel we were staying (it was spring break), so we didn't have other choice than go with MDM even when the price was way too expensive (double than the other hotel). Marina del Mar is a welcome respite after unsuccessfully searching for rooms in Key Largo. We enjoyed our visit so much that we decided to stay a second night. With AAA discount, the rate was significantly lower than other accommodations. Highly recommend!

This hotel sits right on the marina waterfront. It was beautiful to walk along the docks and see all the huge and beautiful ships. Also, it was very convenient for water adventures. Good location for divers. Service OK. No coffee out when breakfast is not on. Nothing out until exactly 7AM, this was not convenient. Room was marginal, not very clean, very small, no porch, shower barely working. I would try another next time, it wasn't even the least expensie!

The Marina Del Mar hotel is the original hotel for this site so it is a bit dated. However the location, the room sizes and the ammenities like full kitchen made all the difference in the world for our trip.
