The two rooms we reserved upstairs were wonderfuly decorated and the beds were comfortable. It is at the quiet end of Duval and sleeping was no trouble. What a shame ! This nice hotel is very well located on duval street with friendly staff and a good beakfast on the terrace but the bedroom which we booked at the back of the hotel was too noisy. We spent Halloween night at the Avalon and truly enjoyed our stay. Clean, neat room exactly as pictured. Soft, comfortable king bed was luxurious.
