We booked somewhere else and it was terrible..so we called around and Lisa at front desk was so nice we drove over. The pool and beach looked like Hawaii with lovely Palm trees and hammocks scattered about. The people were so gracious we felt great and checked in.The room, king bed and kitchen were fully equipped and dishwasher worked fine. The screened patio...

We stayed here for a family wedding. Sunrise @ the beach was perfect, as was sunset across the street @ Lor-E-Lei across the street. Perfect place w/ the best pool I have ever been in.

My wife and i stayed at ths property for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. Reception staff where very efficient and our room had a screened lanai very close to the pool and ocean.
The room was very spacious and appeared to have been recently upgraded. It had everything required for a comfortable stay including a fridge, iron and board...

We only stayed at the Islander for one night.. Facilities are very good and in an excellent location and outlook.. Bar is lovely with very friendly staff. Only negative feedback is the decor was very dated and could do with a upgrade

If you want to go somewhere simple, not super luxurious but very nice, lovely people then this is it. If you cross the road theres a great bar for the...

My wife & I stayed at the Islander for the last 2 days/nights of our Florida Winter Sojourn, and it was like a suprisingly terrific dessert after a good meal. We were not looking to stay at a Mega-Resort, what we wanted was a clean, non-pretentious yet fun piece of tropical paradise. The Islander delivers! Built in the 1950's, looks...

My 11 year old son and I stayed at the hotel for 1 night after spending the day on the fishing boat at Robbie's Marnia. I thought the hotel was nice, clean, and reasonable for the accomodations. We spent both days at the pool and little beach. On the second day we took out the Aqua Bikes for $15 for...
