The Cheeca is back an I had a nice stay. New lodge and the same nice resort layout. I have been going to Cheeca for about 15 years. It is getting to pricey for me to stay in the main lodge but some of the out building rooms are nice too with a lower cost. I will be back. more

This is a large, lush resort behind a guarded security gate. Winding paths wander through intensely gardened, landscaped grounds that are lit at night with torches and uplighting. My husband and I stayed at Cheeca Lodge on January 24th. I will say the resort is beautiful and the service at check-in was impeccable. The pool areas and beach are immaculate and inviting. For the purposes of full disclosure, I'd like to say that they did do a couple things right (brought in a talented make-up/hairstylist, got my wife a pair of stockings), but these things in no way make up for the problems below, especially having to do with the way I've been treated when attempting to address my concerns with management.... more
