“This LaQuinta cares about it's guests”

We stayed one night at LaQuinta/Lakeland. This is an older property, but well maintained. The room had not been updated, but the bed was and was very comfortable. (There was also a nice LG tv.) “Did you know that animals are allowed in all rooms here?”

I just found out- by watching all the dogs come and go this weekend- that this hotel (and others I am told) allow pets in all rooms. There are no specially designated "dog" or "cat" rooms. “One night in Lakeland”

This is a very basic hotel. Everything about it was ok except for the bed which was not comfortable. For the price though it was better than average.The location is convenient to I-4 and it is a short drive to shopping and restaurants.

Hotel was easy to get to right off Interstate 4, Ballpark, restaurants & convenience stores nearby, downtown Lakeland about 2 miles away. Very Nice room with shower and toilet in separate room. Free WIFI, outdoor pool not heated. The one black mark was the complimentary breakfast, it was the poorest we’ve seen with cold cereal, waffles, orange & apple juice.... More

“Pros and cons”

We were there for a soccer tournament. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The price was excellent. the rooms are a bit dated and the air conditioning was awful. The beds were also uncomfortable.This is a typical you get what you pay for hotel. Not bad for the price, but not going to win any awards.
