Non-luxurious place with 16 rooms at the beach. Our efficiency room had a view over the pool and the beach. The hotel offers direct access to the beach! We felt very relaxed there. “Perfect Beachfront Resort!”

If you want a nice local motel, Tropic Seas on El Mar will fit the bill. Located directly on the beach, it has a nice heated pool w/lounge chairs. Pool towels are provided in your room for use. Spent a total of 7 days there beginning of March 2013. Great place/ clean/ on the Beach/ friendly Managers. Directly on the beach with all rooms/balconies having an Ocean View. What else can one ask for!.

Lauderdale by the Sea is unique in that the hotels are mainly 2-3 floor "motels". The beach is very wide and lovely.
