Small rooms with even smaller bathrooms, the only upside to this hotel is it is one block back from the beach behined the Clevelander. This was my 3rd time staying at the Essex House and I love it. The Staff is amazing and helpful at all times. The rooms are comfortable the location is close to the beach and all the south beach entertainment but its not roudy or loud. You also get to enjoy all the ammenities from the Cleavlander.

This is a great location one block from South Beach. The sister hotel behind Essex House, The Cleavelander, is a bit crazy and guests at Essex House are able to use The Cleavelander's amenities - this is a nice perk.
