I really liked this hotel. Was a perfect location on Ocean Drive, just opposite the beach and far enough from the noise of the bars. The staff on reception were always happy to help us and greeted us each time we came and went. A tea / coffee maker in the room would have topped it off perfectly.

The hotel is very scruffy and unattractive from the outside. Registering was ok, the reception area was not very clean and very strong air fresheners were in use. I would rate the hotel a 2 1/2 star instead of three star. The first room they assigned us on the first floor ,one of the windows in the room, didn't lock. This hotel is old, overpriced ,the complimentary breakfast is horrible and the staff is nonchalant not to say rude. The bedroom we stayed in was so small and the Tv was even smaller. The only and only great thing about this hotel is the location and complimentary beach towels.

Wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. Good news is that it has a great location, on Ocean Drive, but a couple blocks from all of the noise. Rooms are spacious as well. However, that is all that is positive. No amenities, awful complimentary breakfast, and indifferent service. Much better choices are on Collins ave.

My friends and I just went to Miami for a long girls weekend and this hotel made it very difficult to have a good time. Nice welcome but don't expect luxury. 'Bonanza' style basic room 2 big comfy beds. Walk through restaurant didn't bother us. Good location didn't have breakfast....We always eat at The Front Porch at the opposite end of Ocean Drive...best breakfast!!! Just hire some bikes or meander along.
