Booking on-line we were a liitle nervous about the mixed reviews, but this hotel was fantastic! Nestled into lush greenery 2 blocks off the main drag, the gardens, fountains, and beautiful landscaping lend a quiet, zen-like atmosphere to this property. The room was huge and immaculently clean, the staff friendly and down-to-earth. Overall reminiscient of some pesiones at which we stayed in villages of Italy, we were so delighted we extended our stay an extra day.
OK - no restaurant, no swimming pool on site, but there are many excellent restaurants within a mile, some within walking distance, and the beach is 10 minutes away. The hotel will even loan you beach chairs and umbrellas at no charge! When we come back it will be for a week or more.
