Come visit the Beautiful Mariner Beach Club on St. Pete Beach with the lovely sunsets. One and two bedroom units with full kitchen. You will enjoy the heated pool and two hot tubs.
Best part of the resort is that they are located steps from St. Pete's beach! This is a small resort and close quarters. The 1 bedroom rooms are definitely small and definitely wouldn't want more than 2 people in the room. The outdoor space is small and when we were there a large family with many small children monopolized the pool and hot tub the entire week. They were very loud and the children were well under 12 years old and the parents allowed them to use the hot tub as a swimming pool. With all that said the beach is definitely worth the stay, as long as you plan on spending the week on the beach and not at the pool.

Spent our anniversary weekend here and loved it. Jessica the GM went above and beyond to make sure we had a special weekend leaving us dessert and a cute plant! The rest of the staff was also beyond nice and helpful letting us borrow sunscreen and a volleyball. Will definitely be coming back several times over the summer since we live in Tampa and are looking for a nice local beach getaway. We were very happy with our experience and nothing beats being right on the ocean in a great hotel with such a friendly warm staff!

The staff is phenominal! In this world of corporate policy and stand-offish employees, the Mariner has an amazing staff-friendly, pleasant, familylike! Priceless views, sunsets! Not that you need to go anywhere, but close to many different types of places: Johns Pass, Corey Avenue, downtown St Pete, St Pete Pier, Passe-A-Grille. Exceptional restaurants from laid back beach bars to fine dining.

My spouse and I stayed and hosted another couple for a full week stay. Check in was quick and contact-less. I received a call several hours before my arrival confirming our suite was available for check in (early). The two-bedroom condo was on the street-side, 2nd floor, with one flight of stairs. A very nice patio area was set up outside the room. Unit was clean and modern, although floor plan was slightly odd. I assume this was once a typical Florida beach motel in years past, and was converted to condos - thus some oddities in layout. Everything worked as expected and there was only one minor maintenance issue which I reported to the manager. My only complaint (which I kept to myself and my travel partners) was the street noise started promptly at 6:00 AM. Light sleepers may want to try a unit closer to the gulf side of the property. Parking is a bit tight for larger vehicles and occasionally hard to come by, but we found a spot each time we returned. Pool, hot tubs, grill area all very well kept and clean with immediate access to the beautiful white sand of St. Pete's Beach. There are plenty of dining choices and beach bars within walking distance or just a short drive away. Grocery and pharmacy are within several hundred yards. We'll stay again here someday hopefully!…

Our Grandfather was the original builder and owner of the Mariner. Our Dad grew up living in unit 109. Years ago our grandfather sold the hotel. As a 80th birthday gift our family took Dad “home” for a weeks stay. Jessica (manager) helped us plan all the arrangements and even hosted a meet and greet for all the guests. We were so surprised how many owners/people came out to talk with our Dad and see the original pictures of the Mariner. Our Dad was so proud of how the staff has maintained this property. They truly care about this hotel and the guests who come. Grandfathers dream was having a place for families to enjoy each other, the beach and feel like it was “their” home. All units have kitchenettes for this reason. Come and feel the magic of his dream. It’s still very much alive at the Mariner. Thanks everyone for the best stay. We will be back soon!!!!! The B. Family…

Found the resort easily and check in was a breeze. Our room was ready, stocked and clean. We've enjoyed many large resorts and this property reminded us of the joy of a quiet, relaxing vacation. Several reunions going on while we were there and we found that many units were owned by family members. Grandpa, dad and siblings call it home. The beach is massive and quiet, the public access is about 1/4 mile North so that was crowded while our stretch was local resorts only. We were in a 1 bedroom but there are also 2 bedrooms available. With only 32 units you never feel crowded.

This resort is in a great location but it needs a little bit of TLC. The resort is a bit outdated so needs an update to the rooms. Size is good but would not recommend rooms for 4 adults. Very comfortable for 2 adults.
