We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed our stay. The service was good and price was competitive with nearby hotels (a plus is no resort or parking fee). The decor is a bit dated but served the purpose of a suite with full kitchen and plenty of space located near lots of bars/restaurants/shops. Would stay there again.

Rooms were large, but the place is pretty dated. The beach access was great. Sleeping was next to impossible, as the bar across the highway was very loud, and our bedroom was at the front of our suite facing the street.

I do like the Alden Beach hotel. Okay it is one of those old Florida hotels, but that is the charm. There is not much for children to do here other than the pool or shuffle board and the beach.
