This is my fourth stay on Sanibel and, for me, I need look no further than the Parrot Nest. I originally chose it because it is small, walkable to both sides of the island's beaches and the price was right. I also teach in a high school and did not want a pool as well as not wanting teenagers running... More

Was fortunate to find availability at the Parrot Nest over a busy holiday week. Price could have been better, but accommodations were perfect for our needs. Lenny greeted us when we arrived and although we didn't see Brenda, we knew she was only a phone call away. Loved the feather pillows, white towels, and great shower. Lighting in the room... More

Had another 2 night stay at the nest. Rooms were great and Brenda and Lenny greeted us with their charm once again. Location is well within walking distance to the beach so took advantage of 2 days soaking up some Sanibel Sun.

I originally chose the Parrot's Nest because they offer the Sleep Number bed, which is what we have at home, and I usually have difficulty sleeping anywhere else. Also to my surprise, the sheets, towels, and pillows were very high quality, better than most hotels we have stayed at. Suite #2 has a new bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen area... More

Don't go to the Parrot Nest expecting room service, but if you're happy with a quiet and informal setting this is an interesting and (relatively) affordable option. The efficiencies are comfortable and reasonably well equipped given the available space. It's quite easy to make breakfast and simple meals and snacks. Good quality gas and charcoal barbeques are also provided. Beds... More

I rented suite #2 for my little family of 3 for a week in early December. We had a lovely time at the Parrot Nest. Each morning we loaded up a beach cart provided by the inn and walked the 3 blocks to the beach. The inn also provides beach towels and chairs. The beach is perfect! The shelling is... More

Don't go here! I guess the reason why this place is so well-rated is because it is a totally different thing coming here out of the high season. When we arrived, there was nobody there to greet us. In fact, nobody ever shows up. We were the only visitors. I have never been in such a dirty appartement. The first... More

Aloha from Sanibel, Here at the Parrot Nest we strive for perfection when it comes to cleanliness and anything less is unacceptable. I’m sorry we did not meet our regular standard of perfection during your visit. Customer dissatisfaction is never acceptable. And while we want everything to be perfect upon check-in, we also want to be told of problems so... More

The tvs are not flat screen but have a lot of channels to choose from. The rooms are very good size. The... More

I am staying at the Parrot Nest for 10 days and am about in the middle of my total days and I must say I am loving this place. I work out of Fort Myers when I travel to Florida and decided to stay on Sanibel since I was here so long and it was a great choice. The drive... More

We stayed at the Parrot Nest for 3 days. The apartment was clean and well stocked with towels. The sleep number bed was not our favorite. We never did get to meet the inkeepers. The inn is at near lighthouse beach. Very nice and quiet area. We both wished the inn had a pool. It would have felt good to... More
