We've stayed at Tarpon Tale 4 or 5 times now, generally in January. It's very low key, quiet, comfortable, and clean. It's not luxurious, but it has everything we want, including wi-fi and honor-system washers and dryers. Owners of the tiny inn, Joe and Dawn, are unfailingly friendly and helpful. A 2 day stay in Seashell 1 was the perfect recharge for me and my husband. The room was spacious and clean. Very comfy king size bed. Shower with good water pressure, No bathtub. This was our first stay at the Tarpon Tale Inn, though we have visited Sanibel island five times in the past. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. You really felt like family! The atmosphere was perfect and calming for body, soul and mind. It was a tropical paradise.
