I was on an expense account while at this hotel but my frugal nature won’t permit me to accept over-priced mediocrity even if I’m not paying for it. Our room charge was $225/night. The hotel is typical of the Hyatt chain in that it’s run by a bunch of M.B.A.’s looking for a “profit opportunity” in every aspect of a... more

Our family was on vacation over Christmas and unfortunately did not do enough homework on this pick. The hotel is an old hotel redone and you can tell. The Hyatt is usually quite nice, however, this one was not. The indoor hottub in the gym was blue fibreglass - I think it had to have been from the early '90s!... more

My wife and I recently stay at this hotel for a business conference. We stayed in a Casita for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were meet. Though the staff seemed spread thin due to a cruise that was there for one night,... more

Our group had 6 rooms for two weeks during the christmas holidays. With three prominent doctors in our group, we were travelling to get away from the cold winter season in Canada. The hotel was beautiful with two great pools (one with a sandy area), great restaurants and a lovely downstairs bar. We were beautifully welcomed by Devon, a front... more

The casita was very quiet and private. Felt like a private home and reasonably appointed. The mattress could use a replacement, but it did not interfer with sleep. I would highly recommend you book a massage in the health spa. Jill Sanborn & assoc. licensed therapists were fabulous and professional. This special treat was well worth saving up for! more

Got this on PL for 42$. This was a great deal. A 4 star hote with free parking! Thats rare. The resort is quite big, separated in 2 buildings, and cabanas. My room was quite good, with dated decor, CRT TV, but an excellent bed. The bathroom is also quite big, with good pressure in the shower. Internet is 12$... more

No cribs, the fridge didn't cooled much, no drawers in the bathroom vanity, just 2 drawers for clothing storage, old TV with a remote control that only worked within 4ft range, got charged for using the wireless internet, the shampoo and conditioner had very poor quality. more

The rooms and baths are spacious, but they need updating. The linens on the bed at least are nice. TVs are the older model as well. One thing that really bothered me was when I went to plug in the iron, there were no easily accessible plugs. I had to reach behind the TV or unplug something from behind the... more
