The Western Motel in Folkston is really starting to show it's age. The bed has seen it's better days and was in need of replacing. The carpet and furniture also showed signs of wear and tear. For this to be Folkston's newest hotel, I found it to be poorly furnished. The mattress/box spring was in terrible condition, ~ it looked as though it had been pulled from a trash pile! We disinfected and cleaned the room before we felt comfortable using the restroom or sitting on the beds! Would I stay here again? Absolutely not!!!

The motel was more like one of those extended stay motels. The beds were terrible. Dirty carpet, stains on bathroom walls and the continental breakfast is fine if you like prepackaged bear claws. The room was fine, adequately clean and comfortable. Room cleaning service good. Liked the microwave and refrigerator. Small continental breakfast with good coffee. Small pool cool and relaxing. This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were really clean and the employees are really nice .like living in a home. great location, clean, friendly atmosphere.the motel was beautiful, organized, and very clean. front desk clerk is not good speck english but he is a very good man.

One of two motels in Folkston, I've heard the Western is the better of the two. Motel run by a family from India, nice people who live on premises. have tried to book a room here several times over the years, they always say they are booked full. but when I walk in and ask if they have rooms they say.OF COURSE! we have plenty of rooms!! I suppose its so they can charge higher rates to people coming in off the highway. Its not really fair for us... More

This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were really clean and the employees were really nice. They also have a nice pool. It's kind of small but it does cool you off. I was there during a wedding party but it's usually pretty quiet also.
