After reading the reviews of this hotel I was nervous about staying there. Having said that I enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was very nice and the rooms were perfect especially for the rate. The bathroom was very clean and overall the room smelt great.

Non-smoking room reeked of smoke (all other rooms booked), kids feet and knees black from dirt on carpet, hole punched in bathroom door, roaches in the bathroom, one roll of TP three towels for 4 people. I could go on and on!

I was in Hartwell for business. I checked into the hotel and my too was supposed to be Non-Smoking but smelled horribly like smoke! The sheets had nasty stains. We booked three nights in a non-smoking room at this hotel for my son and his family. They said the beds in their room were terrible and the room and bedding reeked of cigarette smoke. We should have canceled the other two nights because they stayed decided to stay with friends on the third night. Lesson learned...never again.

This is a very nice hotel that has a very friendly staff. They treated me like family and did everything I asked. The rooms look and smell very clean.

Not a bad property for the area. Room was clean, bathtub leaked into the bathroom downstairs though.
