We were originally going to stay for 2 nights, we had to leave after the first night and we couldn't even leave when we checked in because we got there so late. The smell of the hotel is awful. You hear rats at night. I saw a rat crawl out of the hotel into a street outside. We called the... More

We thought we liked the history this hotel represented. It is well-positioned in the center of town, close to the attractions (e.g. 'Little White House, Dowdell's Knob), and has hosted some people of renown in years past. We stayed two nights, and included breakfast. We are well-travelled though younger; we enjoy excellence but refuse to be snooty or demanding to... More

Fascinating to sleep in a 100+ year old However the breakfast was a disappointment. The refreshments in the evening consisted of a can of coke and a bottle of water. There was also an indication about a talk about the history of the building that didn't happen. There was only one other couple so that may have been a reason.... More

We were in town for a town sponsored festival and spent three nights at the Hotel Warm Springs. This is a 1907 hotel and although it has been updated do not expect the amenities of a 2000 era motel. Overall the staff was extremely pleasnt and helpful, the rooms were adequately furnished and the linens and towels were excellent. Because... More

I was disappointed, because I love historic inns. I like to support those who preserve icons of the past...that said, I felt the Inn was "down at the heels". Old buckets outside the guest entrance with stagnant water and a sharp smell of mildew was the first indication that my expectation of a quaint, homey trip back in time was... More

I have stayed at Hotel Warm Springs many, many times--it is delightful, clean as a whistle, safe, comfortable, reasonably priced, and offers a fantastic breakfast feast--not the continental stuff--instead, grits, eggs, biscuits, bacon, coffee, orange juice, etc. And, don't let me forget Gerrie Thompson, the owner--she is charming and kind. If you haven't stayed at Hotel Warm Springs, give it... More

Built in 1907 the historic Hotel Warm Springs serves as the anchor for the downtown historic district. The rooms are old-fashioned with much of the decor restored to the Roosevelt Era of the 1930's and 40's. In essence, a stay at the hotel is like stepping back in time. I've had the opportunity to stay here on one occasion and... More

The location was perfect. I agree with the other reviewers, if you want cookie-cutter new, skip this but if you want history, personal service then this is the place. It really is like going to visit an Aunt or Grandma. Jerrie is the best. We chose one of the full service queen rooms. We had plenty of space and everything... More

We stayed at Hotel Warm Springs Bed & Breakfast in March. The hotel is old, but filled with history. The rooms show their age, but for the price serve their purpose well. The inn has a large parlor and gameroom available. There is even an icecream shop inside the hotel. The best things about the inn were the location (it... More

If you're looking for polished marble bathrooms, snazzy modern decor, and formal service -- look elsewhere. But if you want old fashioned, fun and funky, this place fits the bill. Gerrie is a delightful classic who's ready to schmooze while she checks you in. The decor is random old stuff, with an FDR angle as befits Warm Springs. The room... More
