I stayed here once before back in 2004 and had a fairly pleasant experince. I visited again this past November and was shocked by the transformation. I have never been so disappointed in a B&B. When I first walked in, I looked to my right and saw two dirty chairs. When I looked down, the rug was dirty and stained. Maybe we hit a bad day but in three touring holidays through the US this was without doubt the worst B&B - most have been brilliant. Met with big smile but total lack of genuine interest or warmth. A Victorian style B&B with very nice accomodations. The breakfast was quite delicious - a stuffed french toast with homemade blueberry sauce, bacon, juice, coffee, and tea. Staying at the JJ Shaw house was an uplifting and joyous experience. From the moment I walked into the parlor, decorated from wall to wall and to the ceiling with Yule Tide love, I felt at home.
