I would recommend B&B 500 -- the rooms were nice and clean, and the location on Lido was good, just about 5 minutes from the main vaporetto stop. The ferry crossing to Venice island can be pricey so although you save on accommodation by staying on Lido, it's probably more cost effective to pay a little more to stay on the main island. based on the Lido rather than mainland you need a vaperetto ticket 33 euro for 3 days . Found it a little hard to find easiest way is to catch no A bus from the lido and get off after about 1/2 mile near the shops. or walk straight down from the Billa supermarket along the canal till you see... More
