We booked through Booking.com and got a very reasonable rate for last minute. B&B at this time of year (early August). The hotel is only a few hundred metres from the Vaperetto (15 minute ferry to St. Marks square Venice) & Alilaguna water bus stops (50 minutes to the airport) and about a 5 minute walk to the public beach.... This hotel's location was perfect; a 10minute water bus to the center of Venice, and a small distance from Burano and Murano which are both beautiful islands well-worth a visit.
