We went here during the winter, had the place all to ourselves except for one more guest! Cheap in the winter, it gets pricey during the busy season. We did some outdoor hiking, and loved the beautiful room. Double shower was awesome. More

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Lodge. The room looked out to the lake on the second floor. The room itself was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. No road noise could be heard. The room was great, but the lobby was a great place to sit by the fire and read a book. The lodge wasn't... More

Spent New Year's Eve here with several other couples and will be back! Beautiful view, outstanding customer service and a well-appointed room. Spend more for a room on the lake side--it's definitely worth it. We didn't have any problems with road noise. Beds are very comfy. It's not "in town," but is across the long bridge that leads into Sandpoint.... More

We spent the night here on New Years Eve and had a fantastic experience. We would definitely go back. The rooms were very spacious, very clean and great comfortable beds. Our room overlooked the lake and I can imagine that this would be a great summer get away. The hotel staff was very nice and accomodating . I would highly... More

My brothers and I recently enjoyed a male bonding getaway at the Lodge at Sandpoint. The view from our room of the lake and mountains was incredible. The all wood finished lobby with stone built wood burning fireplace, complete with crackling fire, were right out of an old movie - very cool. The 1000 sq. ft. Penthouse Plus suite was... More

If you book here obtain a lake view, it's a must otherwise your missing out. The service is above standard for most resort locations the staff really went above and beyond. We had our infant with us and they were helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The food at the resturant next door was above average ....we would go... More

We planned our special Anniversery celebration in Idaho and thought we found the perfect place. We were looking for a place that would be quiet and very romantic. It's right next to the highway so it was noisy when your outside. The most diaappointing part thou was the fireplace did not work in a room with a view. We paid... More

This was our first stop on a 2 week vacation and since we had been here a few times before we were happy that they had some last minute rooms (not booking in advance is always a little thrilling in a small town). We didn't get lakefront, but even the backside was restful and quiet at night. Not sure if... More

It was wonderful to return to The Lodge at Sandpoint for a week's vacation this July. Our suite was immaculate and just as comfortable as when we first visited in 2007. This time we rented some kayaks offered by the hotel and had an amusing time paddling around the lake. We were very pleased with the restaurant located next door... More

The Lodge is a nice hotel with a rustic mountain style and friendly staff. The room was finished in rich dark wood, had a fireplace (which seemed to be the only heat source), comfortable upholstered chair and, surprisingly, good quality built-in cabinets that held dishes etc. We had a ground floor room with a patio that opened right out on the...
