I took my husband here to celebrate his 40th birthday and escape from the kids. It was a long long drive from Liverpool for just 1 night but it was worth it. Following a few very stressful weeks, we needed a sanctuary where we could totally relax and re-charge. The Grove is everything we could have possibly wished for. Lovely hotel BUT..... arrived and went to bar-lounge. Sofa area v nice but had dirty coffee cups on the table. Staff did not appear to notice. . That said hotel is in a charming location and the majority of the staff v sweet. Service in the restaurant was better although lacking in atmosphere and food average. We stayed at The Grove on saturday April 27th. The hotel is wonderful set in a perfect "Grove" just outside the quintissential market town of Narbeth.
