Over the past 3 years, I stayed in Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers (301 east n. Water St.), Fairfield Inn (Ontario St) and the Inn of Chicago (Ohio St). For tourists, the Sheraton's location is inconvenient. Inn of Chicago's location is convenient just like the Fairfield Inn, both are very close to the Magnificient mile. Room rate was great! Got a queen room, very small... But that in itself was ok. It was the extras that killed it! Parking ($33 if self park, $42 if valet), tip the concierge, tip the valet... Blew out the budget! Great location just be aware of the other costs that's all. More

This is a nonsmoking hotel and I followed these rules during my whole stay but, I got charged $250 because they found an empty pack of cigarettes in the trash along with a few cigarette butts. The butts were from me shaking my finished cigarettes out while walking downtown (because I don't litter) and putting them in my back pocket.... More

This hotel offers it all!!! Friendly helpful staff, wonderful assistant manager, clean and quiet rooms, 500 feet from Michigan Avenue, 300 feet from Garrett's Popcorn! I don't know why anyone would want to stay anywhere else!!! More

This hotel just steps from Michigan Ave. had an exemplary staff. Both the bell hop, Charles, and the front desk staff were awesome! They were not just helpful but friendly and great with my kids. I would visit this hotel again if not just for the location but for the staff as well. More

This is a very nice hotel, small, in a great location. Only a couple of blocks off N. Michigan Ave. Walking distance to the Navy Pier (about 15 minutes). Walking distance to a movie complex (10 minutes). One block to the place to buy Chicago mix--popcorn combination of caramel and cheddar cheese. Great service by Charles.
